Hol-lee Rollers
Whoopee…We’ve just taken delivery of some Hol-lee rollers we have been waiting for them to come back in stock for some time. These are a great example of an ‘enrichment toy’ because they are very versatile, they give your dog mental stimulation which in turn help grows calmness, that’s what I call a bonus!
They are made of a bendy rubber and dogs like to play with them because they are light-weight and can easily be picked up. So alongside the normal game of ‘fetch’ there are endless possibilities that you can do with this toy.
The sides of the ball are very flexible and the hexagon cutouts make this ball super easy to stuff. Use plush toys that are big enough to stay inside the holes yet small enough for your dog to yank out with a bit of work. You can also use like a treat ball and chop up chunky veg or larger treat biscuits to fill up the centre and alternatively in the summer you could fill up with ice to cool your dog down.
One of my favourite things to do is to tie a few fleece strips to the ball and push the excess fabric inside (so the ties are filling up the centre). Drop a few of your dog’s favorite biscuit treats inside. He’ll need to roll and shake the ball to set the treats free!
This ball is mega popular in the dog enrichment world at the moment, it’s a great purchase because it can be used in many different ways!
